To review the available scientific content regarding relationship between meditation and sleep quality PubMed, Scopus Web of Science databases were searched with keywords “meditation”, “sleep” “sleep disorder”. Articles considered if published in English or Portuguese, 2011 2022 attended to following criteria: (1) reported data from an original study, (2) presented objective documentation meditation’s outcomes, (3) performed adults. that did not meet inclusion criteria pharmaceutical intervention excluded. Overall, studies this had a positive outcome on after meditation. In some articles, couple diseases less severity ongoing condition practices. addition, they helped attention, perception, analytical ability, motor response reaction time people it. Moreover, it brought effective results for treatment chronic insomnia, resulting significant improvements total time, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index improved individuals insomnia. Of 14 included review, 9 randomized controlled trials 5 population-based surveys. The outcomes mindfulness practice diverse, ranging life quality, reduction sleep-related problems, interference psychological memory, concentration. Despite results, there must be methodological standard among subject, aim find reliable can used substantial clinical interventions.
